Mandatory Military Service at GIS

Georgian Intelligence Service offers conscripts to complete their mandatory military service at Georgian Intelligence Service through an employment contract. The citizens of Georgia with relevant health conditions, characteristics, general education and physical fitness, speaking one foreign language along with the official one will be considered suitable for the military service at GIS.

The mandatory military service lasts 12 months and implies 24 hours on duty every third day.

The contractors learn military affairs, attend special training courses and study a foreign language.

The contractors are provided with a monthly salary, free medical insurance and uniforms. They are also eligible to get a short vacation.

Successful contractors will be given the opportunity to be employed at Georgian Intelligence Service.
